At the University of British Columbia, Dr. Kassan is an Associate Professor in the School and Applied Child Psychology department, with a focus on child and youth mental health. From 2009 to 2013, she served as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Counseling Psychology department at the University of British Columbia. From 2014 to 2019, she was an Assistant Professor, and then an Associate Professor, in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Calgary. Dr. Kassan completed her pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology at the University of California, Irvine Counselling Center after completing her graduate studies in counseling psychology at McGill University

Rajendra D. Badgaiyan, MD, is a cognitive neuroscientist and psychiatrist. He is a professor of psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and the chairman of the psychiatry and behavioral sciences department at Richmond University Medical Center. He completed formal training in molecular imaging, neuroimaging, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, and psychiatry. He received the Harvard Medical School's Solomon Award as well as India's renowned BK Anand National Research Prize. The study of the neurological and neurochemical systems governing human brain functioning is the main focus of his research.

From 2006 to October 2020, he served as the head of the Copernicus Scientists International Panel's Iraq headquarters. He is now the hospital-based physician and pediatrician from Iraq with the highest H-index according to Scopus.
